When preparing to sell your home you may be staging the interior so that it is more inviting for a potential purchase. You may want to stage your yard and entryway as well.

During the spring months many yards look vibrant but may also need some extra care for curbside appeal. Pulling weeds and adding a fresh layer of mulch where needed can give your yard a fresh well-maintained look.

Your entryway can be visible from the street and will be seen up close when buyers tour your home.  You can update the front door hardware and entry mat if they are dated or worn.  A real estate agent can generally be of value with more tips when listing your home to make a great impression on buyers.

Tissue Paper Texture

One easy way to add texture to walls is to use tissue paper. You apply the tissue paper to the walls and it stays there until you want something new. Those lines will remain when you use the paper on the walls.

Use the colored wall paint as glue to adhere the tissue paper to the wall. Paint an area of the wall that's a little bit bigger than the…
