I step out my front door and the humidity is intoxicating. I want the day off because I'd like to go to the beach. I am surrounded by water and to my east is the Atlantic Ocean.

Starting at the Verrazano Bridge, South Beach has a board walk that stretches two miles from Fort Wadsworth and then another half mile to encompass Midland Beach.
