The 169-acre "Forever Wild" park and nature preserve is teeming with diverse flora and fauna, providing residents of the neighborhood an escape from hectic city life.

Transportation in Annadale

The Staten Island Railroad stops at the Annadale train station situated to the north of the neighborhood, and both the Huguenot and Eltingville train stations are also convenient to Annadale's residential areas. Car commuters to New Jersey can take Richmond Parkway for quick access to the Outerbridge Crossing, while commuters looking to access Manhattan can cross the island to the St. George Ferry terminal via Victory Boulevard and Forest Hill Road. However, given the convenience of public transportation, most may prefer to utilize the train or one of the local and express buses that stop along on Annadale Road and Richmond Avenue over driving.
