Staten Island real estate market is still going strong in the seller's market. There may be fewer homes, but sales are higher than ever! Here are the statistics for November 2016 & 2015:

The chart above displays an average sale price increase of $50,000 for November 2016, an 11.04% increase compared to November 2015. This is most likely caused by the decrease in inventory as shown below.

With the decrease in inventory as displayed above, the average listing and sale price for November 2016 have increased substantially and cut time spent on the market by approximately 20%.

As shown above, the time spent on market has decreased and the number of monthly sales has increased.

September Staten Island Real Estate Market Sale Sides

The chart above displays the total amount of sales that were made from September 2015 to September of 2016. This chart shows that 86 more homes were sold in September of this year, at least a 22.8% significant sale increase compared to September of last year. 

The average listing price has increased from $525,794 in September 2015 to $529,981 in September 2016. This was caused by the decrease of Current Inventory numbers from 2015 to 2016.

The average sale price of homes has significantly increased from $509,029 in September 2015 to $549,026 in September 2016. This was also caused by the decrease in Current Inventory.

The Average Days on Market (DoM) has decreased from 93 days in September of 2015 to 80 days in September of 2016.

About The Conference House

The Conference House (formerly known at the Billopp House) is a two-story, rubble stone masonry building constructed circa 1680 by Christopher Billopp. Originally rectangular in plan,  the house was extended in the 18th century with the addition of a one-and-a-half story kitchen wing.
