These blistering July days call for sun, surf, and sand! Fortunately, Staten Island doesn't get its name for no reason. Richmond County, completely surrounded by water, is home to these stunning, yet different beaches:

South Beach

South Beach is the perfect mix of chill beach vibes, and boardwalk fun. It is located in the Eastern shore of the island, very accessible via car, bus (s51 or s52) or walking. The beach is around 2 miles long, which mean there's always a place to lay your towel! The boardwalk, officially the Franklin D. Roosevelt Boardwalk, stretches 2.5 miles, from Fort Wadsworth to Miller's Field. If you all haven't heard the news, the Crimmins Ale House opened last weekend for a 3-day grand opening on 1144 Forest Avenue, where friends and family gathered to eat good food, reminisce with friends and coworkers, have a great drink and enjoy the atmosphere. SI- Live did a wonderful article on Tom Crimmins Realty's owners Suzanne and Tom Crimmins as well as their son, Tom Crimmins Jr., who are also now the proud owners of a fine ale house where everyone can come to sit back, relax and enjoy a beverage with friends while watching a sports game, sampling quite an incredible selection of beers (No seriously, look at that menu!) and enjoying fabulous paninis.  This three- bedroom, two bath colonial located in Emerson Hill is a perfect house for anyone interested in raising a family.

 The first floor consists of the living room, dining room, kitchen with access to the deck, and a half-bathroom. The second floor consists of all three bedrooms, and a full bathroom that is a shared bathroom. The basement is a complete family room.
