Realtors to the Heroes Toy Drive

On December 4th 2014, the team Realtors to the Heroes of Tom Crimmins Realty held its annual toy drive. This year, the special event was held at Flanagan’s Tavern. Flanagan’s is located on Amboy Road in the Great Kills section of Staten Island.

Tom Crimmins Realty recently opened its second office, located at 282 Nelson Ave in the Great Kills area of Staten Island. We strive to not only provide excellent service to our clients, but to give back to our communities. This year’s Realtor to the Heroes toy drive is for the Police Officer Rocco Laurie Foundation. The foundation has annual scholarships for junior high school students and participates in outreach endeavors.

Tom Delese Receives First Rising Star Award, Other Tom Crimmins Realty Honorees Receive Top Producer

Yesterday, March 13, 2014, SIBOR hosted a recognition breakfast for top producers. Our very own Tom Delese received the first Rising Star Award, as well as Top Producer Bronze, for his accomplishments in the real estate community.

Delese, who has hosted the Halloween family photobooth on behalf of Tom Crimmins the past 3 years at the Staten Island Zoo, started his career as an Industrial Designer working as an educational toy and display designer. Delese then worked as a retail advertising account executive at Staten Island Advance for 34 years. Staten Island Real Estate Market Changing For The Better In November

The holiday season is at our door and some times it is hard to close a deal on a home. Timing the market is never easy, because it is a constant change. Comparing the market statistics from last year to now on the Island, the market is increasing.

From 147 homes sold in 2012 to the 163 homes in 2013, there is an increase of almost 11%.

This past November we had 279 sales at an average sale price of a little over $424,000. November's monthly volume was over $118,371,000. 

This chart shows our increase from last year's number of 191 sales. There has been a 1.46% positive change.
