Silver Lake Golf Course

Located at 915 Victory Boulevard 10301 in West Brighton, Silver Lakes was voted one of the best public courses in New York City. Silver Lake's Golf Course is a par-70 course, it is an 6,238-yard 18-hole course but a nine hole game can still be played. The golf course is open every day of the week from 6 AM until 7 PM and you can easily book a tee-time to play through the Silver Lake's website or call them. The courses open all year round and are easily accessible by public or private transportation. This beautiful fairway will not disappoint. 

The Veranda Cafe:

If you get hungry after an extensive game of golf, or are just looking for a spot to relax, you can grab a bite and sip some coffee at The Veranda Cafe within the course itself. The beautiful cafe' serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner with a buffet menu and full bar. You can sit outside and enjoy the marvelous view overlooking Silver Lake along with your delicious meal and wonderful service.

La Tourette Golf Course

La Tourette is located at 1001 Richmond Hill 10306, in Richmond Town. Conveniently placed in the heart of Staten Island, it is open from March first up until December first and is open every day from 6 AM to 6 PM. It is a 6708-yard par 72 course that will not disappoint. You can visit their website or call them to book a tee-time. La Tourette also hosts the annual New York City Amateur Championship, which is every May and The March of Dimes Celebrity Charity Event, which is held every June. The well kept green will surely please any golfer, no matter the skill. 

South Shore Golf Course

South Shore Golf Course is located at 200 Huguenot Avenue in Rossville. It was founded in 1927 making it one of the oldest courses on Staten Island. It is also a 6,370-yard, par 72 course with three distinct sets of tees which provides a variety of challenges for varying skill levels and is open year round from 5 AM to 11 PM. The course also offers a variety of clubs; for instance, on Sunday's the Men's Club is held all day,Woman's Club is held all day on Wednesday's, and there's even a club for Korean War Veterans that also assembles on Wednesday's.

Private Courses

Richmond County Country Club

Unlike the other courses mentioned before, Richmond County Country Club is a private course which was organized on April 18, 1888 however officially built in 1916. It is home to not only golf but a variety of sports, fine dining, and events. They offer an 18 hole golf course that is over 3500 yards with updated amenities and a practice area. It is known to be a challenging course that is claimed to never been completed under 65 strokes. The course has lasted over 100 years and overlooks a great deal of Staten Island due to its varying elevations. 

Other Amenities :

Richmond County Country Club also offers tennis and is home to eight Har-Tru tennis courts open seasonally from Memorial day to Labor day. After a game on the courts, Members can enjoys the Player's Lounge which includes a full kitchen, a television and a Pro-Shop. The club also offers an aquatic center which has a luxurious in ground pool and surrounding cabanas. 

The Country Club also offers fine dining in the main dining room, grill room, and the garden room which offer fine wines and a seasonal menu of food. There is also a bar called The Oak Bar and a Club House Restaurant which over looks the beautiful 18th Hole course.
