Westerleigh Park

Westerleigh Park is a beautiful, green place to visit in the North Shore area of Staten Island. In the late 19th century, the park was the site of gatherings of leaders and followers of the Temperance Movement. Even Theodore Roosevelt spoke at one of the meetings here! Since then, the park has become a nice place for nearby residents to take a leisurely stroll, and get some fresh air.
