Tappen Park

Tappen Park is the only park in Stapleton, Staten Island, and it sure is worth the visit! The park was previously called Stapleton Park and Washington Square, until its name was changed in the summer of 1934. The park is currently named after the late James J. Tappen, a World War I veteran. It is a great green spot to visit.
