Franklin D. Roosevelt Boardwalk and Beach

The Franklin D. Roosevelt Boardwalk and Beach extends down the side of Mid Island, Staten Island. This 2.5-mile stretch includes a walking path, a bike path, and numerous playgrounds and sports courts. The beach is parallel to all of these amenities, and is protected by lifeguards. It is a great place to visit with your family or friends to spend a day in the sun. Furthermore, the boardwalk and beach have an undisturbed view of Brooklyn, and the Verrazano Narrows bridge, better than from any other spot on the island!
