Faber Pool and Park

Located by the water in the North Shore of Staten Island, the Faber Park attracts people of all ages. The park has a large outdoor pool, basketball court, skate park, and playground. The park is located on the property where one of the Faber's family homes once stood. The Fabers were originally from Stein, Germany, where they started a lead pencil factory in 1761. Eberhard Faber moved to New York in the late 1800s, and opened the first lead-pencil producing factory in America. The park is a great place to visit for nearby residents.
