Lower Todt Hill in Staten Island is a residential neighborhood located just south of the Staten Island Expressway between Todt Hill Road to the east and Manor Road to the west. Lower Todt Hill is surrounded by beautiful areas like Todt Hill, Emerson Hill, and Castleton Corners. I am going to take you for a walk through this lovely neighborhood and tell you a little bit about what we have here and why we are so proud of it. A lot of the houses in this area have been family owned for many years, and as time goes on, they get passed on or sold to newer generations. I happen to be one of those people who live in a home that was built by my in-laws. My husband and I owned it and now my daughter and her family own it. If you take a walk down the streets of Lower Todt Hill, they will tell you a lot about the families who live here; the manicured lawns with luscious flowers, the children playing outside, and the aroma of people barbecuing in their yards. If you want to live in a small town that has that old-fashioned appeal, then Lower Todt Hill is the perfect place to call home.

Lower Todt Hill is close to a number of public and private schools including Pre-K through grade twelve. If you're curious about more exact information, you can find details here. In addition, it is only minutes away from one of New York's excellent city universities, the College of Staten Island. Another one of Lower Todt Hill's many advantages is transportation. If traveling by car, the Staten Island Expressway will take you over the Verrazano Narrows Bridge to Brooklyn where you can take the tunnel or a bridge to Manhattan. You may also take the Bayonne, Goethals, or Outerbridge which will take you to different parts of New Jersey. Public transportation commuters can catch one of the many buses that stop along Manor Road, which will take you to different parts of Staten Island such as the Staten Island Mall and the Charleston Shopping Center. The express bus to Manhattan picks up passengers at Manor Road and Schmidts Lane and runs frequently, making your trip into Manhattan easier, faster, and more comfortable than other forms of public transportation.

We also have a train on Staten Island called the Staten Island Rapid Transit and the nearest train station, in Grasmere, is approximately three miles from Lower Todt Hill. The train runs from Tottenville to the Staten Island Ferry

There is never a boring day in Lower Todt Hill, with many restaurants, grocery stores, beauty and nail salons within walking distance from your home. In addition, this area can offer homeowners and outdoor enthusiasts beautiful parks, especially The Greenbelt Conservancy and Nature Center, which offers 2,800 acres of open spaces, including parks, trails, and public facilities.
