4th Annual Lighthouse Point Fest

DATE: SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 28TH

ABOUT

Want a fun event for you and your family to enjoy on a Saturday in Staten Island? Then, mark this event in your calendar folks! 

This is a free event opened to the public, and you can go to the National Lighthouse Museum for free! There are going to be a lot of vendors at the event like trying out different arts & crafts, delicious food to eat, face painting for the kids to enjoy, etc. There will be a ton of activities and vendors for each family member to enjoy!

If you are in love with music, there will be a ton of local bands there to play awesome tunes! 

Music Schedule:

1:00 pm - Joan Caddell & The Midnight Choir 

2:00 pm - SI Snugs 

3:00 pm - Allergic to B’s 

4:00 pm - Spark Band 

5:00 pm - Steel Pan Band

Besides a large number of vendors and a variety of activities and music, there is the legendary soup contest! If you have a family recipe, love to cook, or just love to make soup in general, definitely join in the content! You can participate in a group for a fee of $5 per person. It will be a ton of fun, and the audience is the people coming to the event! More information about the soup contest and how to participate can be found here

 

TRANSPORTATION

There are a ton of transportation options to take to go to The National Lighthouse Museum! You can take the Staten Island Railroad or take the buses: S40, S42, S44, S46, S48, S51, S52, S61, S62, S66, S74, S76, S78, S81, S84, S86, S90, S91, S92, S94, S96, S98 to the St. George Terminal [Staten Island Ferry Terminal] and walk 3 minutes there. If you live in the other boroughs, don't worry! You can take the Staten Island Ferry from Manhattan to Staten Island! The National Lighthouse Museum is right next to the SI Ferry!

 

If you are planning to drive there, be aware there is NO on-site parking the day of the Lighthouse Point Fest. Visitors are encouraged to park on the streets surrounding the Museum or use three of the parking garages located nearby.
