All about the Staten Island Neighborhood Richmond Valley:

Today we will be breaking down all the history about the Staten Island neighborhood, Richmond Valley. This neighborhood is home to the North Shore & the zipcodes 10307 and 10309. The South Shore of Staten Island, one of the five boroughs that make up New York metropolis, the biggest metropolis in the United States, has a neighborhood by the name of Richmond Valley. Pleasant Plains, Tottenville, the Arthur Kill, and the Lower New York Bay all about Richmond Valley to the north, to the south, to the west, and to the east.

When the Richmond Valley Staten Island Railway station opened soon after the railroad's extension to Tottenville in 1860, the area that had previously been regarded as a part of Tottenville acquired a distinct identity. The Outerbridge Crossing's Staten Island terminal, which spans the Arthur Kill to connect the island to Perth Amboy, New Jersey, is the neighborhood's main claim to fame today.

The neighborhood is served by the S78 rides along Arthur Kill Road. The express bus SIM26 along Amboy Road. As well as the Staten Island Railroad at its named station.

As you may see, Staten Island exudes so much history that is still honored throughout our neighborhoods. Richmond Valley is home to many people from Staten Island.
