It's raining, it's pouring, and you're imploring the world to finally let it stop raining. The rain has ruined your plans to go out and enjoy your day but you can still have fun indoors. No matter the weather, there are countless things to do at home. Here are some things you could do in the comfort of your home when it is looking gloomy outside:

1. BINGE YOUR SHOWS!

This is the perfect chance for you to catch up on the latest seasons of your shows or even find a new obsession to watch all day long. It isn't every day where you can be a couch potato and dedicate hours to a show so seize the chance. Maybe even have a movie marathon.

2. Pamper Yourself.

Have a spa day but without the hefty price of actually going to the spa. Draw a steamy bubble bath for you to relax in and melt away any stress. Do a face mask and if you don't have one ready on hand you can always diy one.

3. Listen to or Make Music.

Drown out the pitter-patter of the rain with some favorite jams. Listen to songs you love or discover new artists. Try making music too if you have an instrument you haven't touched in a while and just rock out.

4. Bake Some Goodies.

If you have the ingredients, whip up some sweets! Take grandma's recipe for a spin and maybe challenge hers with your own. Make cookies, tarts, cakes, brownies, and maybe some savory baked macaroni and cheese.

5. Prepare a Well Deserved Dinner.

Watch some cooking videos and cook a romantic meal for two or just a wholesome meal for one.

6. Art!

Have some good ole childish fun with painting, coloring, or arts and crafts.

7. Get Productive.

Don't let the hours cooped up at home make you waste your time. Be productive by getting some work done, cleaning your room, organize your home, and plan some more fun upcoming activities.

8. Work Out.

After baking all those cookies and possibly eating half of them, maybe try some physical activity. There are plenty of at home work outs which don't need any gym equipment to work off those sweet.

9. Video Games.

Spend the whole day beating a new video game. Maybe even whoop some butt with whoever is home with you.

10. Board Games!

Break out the Monopoly, Yahtzee, Game of Life and Scrabble for some family fun and bonding. People nowadays forget just how much fun a simple board game can be, especially when played with friends and family.

HEAD TO YOUR FAVORITE BAR.

If you don't wanna spend the whole day at home, try going somewhere else where you feel you can relax. Heading to a local bar to grab a drink and let some steam off is one of many great options. A great local bar on Staten Island is our very own Crimmins Ale House down on Forest Avenue. Come down any time and we'll welcome you as family.
