The Staten Island Museum is one of the oldest museums in the entire New York City. Located in Snug Harbor Cultural Center and Botanical Garden, this is a must see place. This extremely old museum was founded in 1881 and is celebrating its 140th year. The Staten Island Museum contains an abundance of exhibits and different artifacts. One of the main exhibits at this museum is “Remember the Mastodon”. This exhibit discusses the facts about extinction for certain species. The prices to get into the Staten Island Museum varies based on your age. For children from the age of 2-12 it is 2 dollars per visit, for students and seniors it is 5 dollars, and for adults it is 8 dollars per visit. This museum is open from Wednesday to Sunday from the times of 11 am to 5 pm. At the Staten Island Museum there are exhibits that explore many different topics therefore everyone can enjoy.
Staten Island is home to many indoor amusement parks that have large spaces and host parties for kids to enjoy. Fun Station USA has an abundance of activities for all kids.
