Victoria Droumbakis NYS Licensed Real Estate Salesperson

I have been involved in the real estate business in one way or another since 1990. After years in the decorating business while also buying and selling our own properties I decided to become a realtor and utilize my skill set to help other people.

Professionally I have always been concerned that my work should reflect my values and that anyone that worked with me would be treated fairly, respectfully and with integrity. What means most to me is to be ethical in everything that I do so that when I give my word it means something.

I don’t shy away from challenges, in fact it is what makes my work interesting. Those clients who need special attention are my favorite. Spending time getting to know people, developing a relationship, discovering their needs is something I like to do anyway....Making a difference in a person’s life is important to me, helping people reach their own personal goals gives me great satisfaction. I am definitely a people person.

In my spare time I teach Tai Chi classes, am a voracious reader, and love to know what is going on in the world. I try to stay informed by listening to NPR and local news stations. I am an avid fan of the green movement, organic farming and renewable energy. Because I enjoy flower arranging, decorating and experimenting with color and design I get great satisfaction in helping others to realize that they can live their dream.

Getting involved in my community is something that I think is very important, I try to give back wherever I can. As a board member of the Staten Island Mental Health Society and Chair of their fundraising committee, I get a chance to help bring awareness to mental health policy in our borough. I am still committed to education, especially for women and have supported Notre Dame Academy over the past 18 years. I have been involved with the Staten Island Museum fundraising for them over the years, my favorite event being “Pretty tables, Perfect Settings”. I would like to be remembered as someone who cared, someone who paid attention, someone who helped bring about positive change.

When I am not working you will find me at our beach home in Montauk, NY puttering around the house, taking a long walk, cooking up a favorite meal or just cozying up to a book while listening to the waves break at the local beaches... I could never give up living in a community near the water.

I am a native of Brooklyn, NY who, along with my husband Mark and our two daughters relocated to Staten Island almost 20 years ago in search of some peace and quiet and a home with some property. We have found it all here. And so can you... As your realtor I would help you to find your place in the sun.....
